Troy Prevot has diverse experience in medicine, insurance, and risk management settings. He began with 8 years as a physician assistant in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine, which included a 2-year research role at the University of Florida. Following this experience, he cofounded an Occupational Medicine resource company that provided professional occupational medicine staffing, case management, toxicology/chemical medical surveillance, and management of corporate occupational medicine programs.
In 2006, Mr. Prevot became Senior Vice President for LUBA Casualty Insurance Company (a workers’ compensation/insurance company), managing several departments. In this role, helped craft changes to Workers’ Compensation legislation in Louisiana by developing clinical practice guidelines. He went on to serve as Executive Vice President for LCTA Mutual Holding Company (also a workers’ compensation/insurance company), where he was responsible for business development, strategic planning, enterprise risk planning, and medical cost containment.
Mr. Prevot is the current Director of Strategic Solutions for ODG by MCG and assists in guideline implementation and analytics for medical cost containment strategies. He sits on the board of directors for multiple insurance carriers and continues to practice and teach in orthopedics.
