If only one or two digits are typed for the year, then the appropriate century in the last 100 years is used. If you type “6” or “06” then “2006” will be used in calculations. If you type “25” then “1925” will be used. A blank year will be assumed to be this year. Some browsers will allow you to type the name of the month and the day number to select from a popup menu rather than having to choose an item with the mouse or other pointer device.
Dollar values are rounded to the nearest penny at the end of computation. By default, all numbers are rounded during a calculation where required according to procedure. Intermediate calculations are performed with 64-bit precision. Conversions from days to fractions of weeks, months and years default to 365.25 days per year, 52.18 (≈ 365.25 ÷ 7.0) weeks per year, and 4.35 (≈ 52.18 ÷ 12.0) weeks per month.
